All bike riders -- Please JOIN US for coffee and breakfast this coming Bike-to-Work & School Week at three "Celebration Stations" around Ganges:

Tuesday, from 8am to 10am: Outspokin' Bikes will host a breakfast stop, complete with free bike mechanic checks, located on McPhillips next to the Library.

Wednesday, from 7:30 am to 9:30am: Islands Trust will host a pop-up tent with pastries and comraderie in front of their office on Lower Ganges, near the BC Hydro offices.

May 16, 2018

We're planning a "celebration station" in front of Outspokin' Bikes on McPhillips Avenue for Tuesday from 8 to 10am with doughnuts, coffee, and free bike mechanical check-ups by Sean.

Also this year, Islands Trust will host a breakfast station in front of their office, off Lower Ganges by the Hydro Station -- more details to come, soon.

Would YOU like to see other celebration stations in your part of the islands? Please get in touch!

New to the Gulf Islands this year is Bike-to-School for kids. Jenny Redpath with Island Health and the Salt Spring Elementary PAC are working with me to organize some bike safety and fun activities at Salt Spring Elementary for Thursday morning, May 31st before school. We'll have snacks for everyone, a helmet decorating station (with stickers and pens like below), and some kind of playground bike course.
