Celebration Stations

What is a Celebration Station?

Celebration Stations are promotion tents that are set up around Penticton to support and promote workers to commute to work by bike. Riders are encouraged to visit Celebration Stations the last week of May from Monday to Thursday between 7:00am to 9:00am at various locations around Penticton to be enter to win one of the grand prizes. Each Celebration Station will have free snacks and drinks for riders as well as chances to win daily prizes. There will also be a bike check-up station on site where Freedom the Bike Shop, The Bike Barn, and PDSCL Bike Shop will be providing free bike inspections.

On the Friday the Celebration Station will be a Beach BBQ in the afternoon from 4:00 - 6:00pm to catch all the commuters heading home and celebrate the end of Bike to Work & School Week. The one grand prize will also be drawn at the end of the wrap up.

But don't stop biking on Friday Bike to Work Week ends on the Sunday so keep clocking your km the final prizes will be drawn the following week.

  • Monday: 7:00-9:00am Kick Off breakfast Hosted by Smuggler's Smokehouse 536 Main St. (Across From Freedom Bikes)
  • Tuesday: 7:00-9:00am Hosted by Nature's Fare Market (north location) 1770 - #103 Main St
  • Wednesday: 7:00-9:00am Hosted by Shades On Main Restaurant 1909 Main St. 
  • Thursday: 7:00-9:00am Hosted by Booster Juice at Cherry Lane Mall
  • Friday: 4:00-6:00 Beach BBQ Hosted by Dale Charles and Sports Clinic Physiotherapy in Gyro Park
