2018 Bike to Work & School Week is May 28 - June 3, 2018!

To Qualify for the Grand Prize Trip Draw:

You must log kilometers for at least one trip that you choose to ride your bike instead of drive a motor vehicle to during Bike to Work & School Week, May 28 - June 3, 2018 (for example, if you choose to ride a bike instead of drive a motor vehicle to work, school, the gym, run errands, meet a friend for coffee, etc.). This grand prize trip package includes economy class round trip airfare from the nearest international airport, hotel accommodations, a local leader and planned routes and itineraries with support vehicles to follow.  Just as there are scientists searching for a cure for cancer, there are also scientists whose life’s work it is to uncover the secrets of living a happier life.

Two such “happiness researchers” from Harvard University wanted to know which daily activities make people the happiest, and which make people the least happy1. To test their question they developed a smartphone app that sent their participants texts randomly throughout the day asking:

“I wanted to pass on my experience with Bike To Work Week. I returned to bike riding a few years ago, after a 33 year break. I rode for pleasure in the spring and summer months, and made a couple of short cycle camping trips. This spring, I sold my cruiser and bought a hybrid road bike from Simon's Cycle...what a difference!
